1. Successful written exam and flight test for the CPL (CAR 421.69-1b)
2. YES – CAR 425.23 only applies to aircraft used for flight training.
3. 500 hours TT in aeroplanes, of which 200 are instructional, or an ATPL with a valid flight instructor rating (CAR 425.21-3b)
4. 1, 2 or 3 (CAR 426.22.1-1)
5. TRUE (CAR 426.45)
6. When operating under an approved Flight Training Operations Manual (CAR 421.67.3-b)
7. NO (Flight Test Standards and Pilot Examiner Manual – Exercise 18)
8. NO – CAR 602.129 states that only operations under Part 7 are different from the general ban; flight training is conducted under Part 4 and therefore the general rules apply.
