1. All information on this website is presented as general information and though we strive to be accurate, no warranty is implied. We may amend it from time to time without notice. All official information regarding flight instructor refresher courses is contained in the Training Course Outline as approved by Transport Canada and supersedes any information on this web site. Arrangements for services are generally governed by unique contract. Should you be dissatisfied, your sole recourse is to discontinue use of the website and/or our services.

ONLINE COURSES

2. Static on-line courses are non-refundable and intended for one authorized user only. The system will automatically disable accounts that it believes are being used by multiple individuals. There are no refunds for legitimately disabled accounts. If you believe your account was disabled in error, we will re-activate your subscription at our sole discretion.

For information on virtual conferences (such as Instructor Upgrade and Instructor Refresher), refer to the terms and conditions presented at the time of enrollment for information on refund policy.

PRIVACY AND SECURITY

3. We will take all reasonable precautions to protect your personal information and do not share it with anyone outside of Aviation Solutions (or our contractors) without your express consent. The only exceptions are for a) Flight Instructor Refresher Courses, where Transport Canada receives information required to process rating renewals and administer the course; b) when required to do so by law or court order.

The owner of Aviation Solutions is responsible for our privacy policy and document protection – they should be contacted with any questions or concerns. We keep a digital record of all of your transactions and business with us under password protection; any paper files are kept secured in locked cabinets. Records are kept no longer than 10 years. Records are kept on site at our office; however, some records may be kept on remote servers with third party providers we deem have met a suitable security and privacy standard. Information with respect to medical or vaccination status is destroyed once reviewed by Aviation Solutions and is not kept on file. We may post pictures, videos, and other media of courses, worksites, and customers on our website and associated sites, such as social media outlets. All Flight Instructor Refresher Course participants will receive a commemorative class photo identifying each individual by name. Customers who wish to opt out of having their image and/or name used may advise us of such and we will comply. All clients are automatically enrolled in our email update program under the implied consent sections of Canadian law through our existing business relationship; and may opt out at any time by advising Aviation Solutions.
