Congratulations – CFI’s Award 2024

Aviation Solutions would like to extend our congratulations to Flight Instructor Victor Mansouri of Pacific Rim Aviation Academy in Pitt Meadows BC on receiving the 2024 Chief Flight Instructor’s Award. This national award is presented annually to recognize outstanding flight training educators who have displayed superior professionalism, skill, and dedication. The award recognizes those who contribute in a positive way to Aviation Solutions’ Flight Instructor Refresher Course (FIRC), their schools, students, colleagues, the aviation community, and industry at large. Victor was selected from the nearly 150 flight instructors who attended an Aviation Solutions FIRC in 2024.
Victor quickly stood out during his course by sharing his valuable observations and insightful questions. “All of the course presenters noted Victor’s professional disposition” said Mike Schuster, Chair of the award Selection Committee. “So did his colleagues, with several highlighting Victor’s contributions in their post-course feedback surveys.”
Victor currently teaches a variety of single engine licences and ratings, and in his short career has also taken on the additional responsibilities of an administrator, person responsible for maintenance, radio licence examiner, aviation written exam invigilator, and chief dispatcher at various points along his journey. He has also participated in multiple high school career fairs, airport days, and other opportunities to share his knowledge and passion of the aviation industry.
“I am deeply honoured to receive the Chief Flight Instructor's Award for 2024” said Victor when made aware of his selection. “It was a pleasure to attend the Flight Instructor Refresher Course, and I am grateful for the dedication and support of the Aviation Solutions team. The positive feedback from the course staff and my colleagues means a lot to me, and it is truly humbling to be recognized among such a distinguished group of professionals.”
One of the qualities the course staff observed was a genuine desire on Victor’s part to continue to improve to be the best flight instructor possible. True to form, he remarked “I truly found the course very informative and learned a lot from the Aviation Solutions team and the rest of my classmates. I will continue to strive for excellence in my contributions to flight instruction.”
