Congratulations Classes #49 and #50! Our First Virtual FIRC and Our Landmark 50th Course.

It has been quite a spring in many ways around the world. Here at Aviation Solutions we were planning to celebrate our 50th Flight Instructor Refresher Course back in May until COVID-19 shut down gatherings, including conferences. But pilots are resourceful and adaptable, and our team worked tirelessly to bring the FIRC online this June.
We would like to congratulate the 39 flight instructors of Classes 49 and 50 who successfully renewed their flight instructor ratings with us last week. These dedicated and flexible individuals chose to complete a professional development program in order to renew their ratings and offer an even higher level of quality and service to their students.
Even when working in a virtual classroom, the attendees still had an opportunity to attend lectures, break-out sessions, work on skills with their colleagues, and hear from a wide variety of industry experts.
At the same time, they were a part of history. Class 49 marked the first fully virtual FIRC that was accepted by Transport Canada for rating renewal. Not to be outdone, Class 50 was a landmark course for Aviation Solutions, having celebrated 10 years of providing FIRCs earlier this year.
While the world continues to change, our dedication to our clients remains the same. We will continue to offer online courses, and when able again, in-person courses. Here are some sample comments we received from our clients:

Honestly, as far as online courses go this was amazing. A lot more practical in terms of learning from lots of other instructors compared to simply re-doing a flight test and all the stress that can come with that.
